To cancel your Learning Membership Plan, please contact our Member Services department by phone.  One of our agents will be happy to assist you. 

We’re excited to help you start learning again! Here’s how to reactivate your plan:

1. Log in to Your Account: Visit your Varsity Tutors account to review available options.
2. Need Help? If you don’t see the right plan for your needs, call us at 1-855-791-0588. Our education consultants are happy to assist in reactivating or customizing your plan.

Reactivating your Learning Membership plan gives you instant access to personalized tutoring, live classes, and all the other benefits that make learning fun and effective.

Did you know? 

Your Learning Membership plan can be used by any member of your household! If you would like to add a new learner to your plan, simply click on the drop-down menu in the top right corner of the Home Page, select Add Profile, and complete the form.  

Each learner in your household has access to:

• Individual Instruction: Personalized tutoring in thousands of available subjects.
• Live Classes: Hundreds of engaging classes taught by experts and celebrities. 
• Study Coach: Quick help when you need it, or explore anything you want to learn about.
• My Subjects: Self-study tools such as flash cards, lessons, quizzes, & more.

How Can I Adjust My Learning Plan?

We’re here to ensure your Learning Plan fits your needs and supports your progress towards your goals. Whether you need to adjust your plan or explore new options, we’ve made the process simple.

Steps to Adjust Your Plan Online

1. Log in to Your Account:
   Access your Varsity Tutors account.
2. Go to Your Program Details:
   Navigate to see more.
3. Select your desired Learning Plan:
   Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm.

While on pause, you will have access to on-demand videos, practice materials, and adaptive assessments. However, you will not have access to 1:1 tutoring or live classes.  No monthly hours will be added to your account during the pause. Once your Learning Membership resumes at the end of the agreed-upon pause, the requisite 1:1 hours will be added to your account to begin using and you will have full access to all of the features of your Learning Membership.

In order to change the frequency of tutoring sessions, follow the steps below.

To adjust the frequency of an existing tutoring schedule:

1. Log in to your Varsity Tutors account.

2. If you have more than one student, select the correct student profile from the dropdown menu in the top-right corner of the Home Page.

3. Select My Schedule from the left-side menu.

4. Locate the session you wish to edit from the menu on the right.

5. Click the three dots within the session box.

6. Select Edit Session.

7. Select This and Following to edit ongoing sessions.

8. Choose the desired session length and frequency.

9. Edit the session date and time if needed, then select Update Session.

Learning Membership plan hours may be used in any preferred scheduling pattern. However, having a steady weekly schedule is recommended to support consistent academic progress as regular meetings with a tutor can help reinforce learning and build continuity.

When changing the frequency or duration of sessions, please notify the tutor directly, as the updated schedule will require confirmation and agreement from the tutor. If more tutoring hours are used within a billing cycle than are allocated under your current Learning Membership plan, the additional hours will be billed at the end of the cycle according to the hourly rate associated with the Learning Membership plan.
