How often are new classes added?

New classes are added weekly to provide fresh and engaging learning opportunities. Explore a wide variety of topics designed to spark curiosity and support academic growth.

What is the maximum number of students in a class?

Class size depends on the type of class:

StarCourses: These classes are designed for large audiences and do not have an enrollment limit. StarCourses often feature celebrity instructors or experts. Each session includes both an instructor and a moderator to answer questions via the chat tool and ensure a seamless learning experience.

Group Classes: These classes typically have a smaller number of students, with an average of 12 participants. This smaller class size allows for more personalized interaction with the instructor and among peers, creating a collaborative and engaging environment.

Tip: Enrollment in smaller classes can fill up quickly, so early registration is recommended to secure your spot.

Are the classes appropriate for multiple age ranges?

Yes! Classes are designed to cater to a variety of age groups and skill levels, ensuring every student can learn effectively.

Age-Specific Classes: Many classes are tailored to specific age ranges, such as elementary, middle, or high school students, providing targeted instruction.

Can I register multiple students for classes?

Yes, any student with a profile is eligible to enroll in an unlimited amount of classes and camps to crush their learning goals. Log in and visit our Profile Picker to add new students or select a current student on your account. From there, select your student(s) and enroll them into classes, camps, and summer programs.

How do I view the live classes I've signed up for?

You can view your upcoming live classes by visiting the My Learning Dashboard in your Varsity Tutors Account.

To find your classes:

Log in to your Varsity Tutors account.
Choose the correct student’s profile by clicking on the Initials icon in the top right corner of the My Learning Dashboard, if you have more than one Student on your account.
Upcoming sessions will be visible at the top of the page.
Click View All or My Schedule to see a calendar view of upcoming sessions.

Can a student participate in more than one class?

Absolutely! Students are welcome to enroll in multiple classes. Whether they want to explore different subjects, deepen their skills, or simply enjoy a variety of experiences, there’s no limit to how many they can join.

Can I sign up for a class that has already started?

Yes! While we recommend registering before the first session to get the full experience, you can enroll in a class at any time.

What to Expect:

Join Anytime: Even if some sessions have already been held, you can still participate in the remaining live learning experiences.
Engaging Content: Each session is designed to stand on its own, ensuring that you can jump in and learn without missing out.

Signing up mid-session allows you to take advantage of valuable learning opportunities, even if you couldn’t attend from the beginning.

Why can’t I enroll in a class I saw earlier?

If the option to enroll in a class is no longer available, it means the class has reached its student limit. Once a class fills up, we stop accepting new enrollments and remove the option to sign up.

What to do next:

Check other sections: Some classes have multiple sections, and others may still have availability.
Explore similar options: Visit the Class Catalog to find other classes that fit your needs.

How do I unenroll from a class?

If you decide a class isn’t the right fit, you can easily unenroll from your account by following these steps:

Log in to Your Account: Access your Varsity Tutors client account.
Navigate to Your Schedule: In the navigation menu, select Tutoring and then choose My Schedule from the dropdown.
Find Your Class: Locate the card for the class or camp you’re enrolled in.
Unenroll: Click the options button on the class card and select Unenroll.

Once you’ve unenrolled, your spot in the class will be released.
