What is the refund policy?

Your satisfaction is important to us, and we want to ensure you find real value in what our platform has to offer. Accordingly, we offer refunds under the following scenarios:

• Payments processed within 24 hours — If your payment was processed within the last 24 hours, you are eligible for a refund of all unused hours during that time (and to the extent hours were used, the refund would be prorated to reflect). Please contact our Member Services team at the number below as soon as possible to initiate the process.
• Pass Guarantee (only available to Professional Certification purchases) — If you meet the eligibility criteria set forth in the Terms of Customer Account Use and your purchase documentation and do not pass your qualifying exam, you have two options: 
  • (1) a free credit equal to the number of hours used for exam prep, or 
  • (2) a full refund of the original purchase amount. 

Please contact our Member Services team to verify your eligibility and initiate your claim.

• All Other Refund Requests — All other refund requests are reviewed and handled on a  case-by-case basis. Please contact our Member Services team to discuss your specific situation and available options.

Learning Memberships are subject to your signed Terms of Customer Account Use, and the refund scenarios addressed above are intended to clarify and streamline refund eligibility. To review your signed documents, including the Terms of Customer Account Use:

1. Log in to your Varsity Tutors account.
2. Select the drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of the Home Page.
3. Select My Account.
4. Scroll down to the Quick Links box.
5. Select Agreements.
